Many in the gaming community have been up in arms following the increase in prices to consoles, accessories, games, and subscriptions like Xbox Game Pass. Many in the Xbox community have been wondering whether or not the service is worth it following the increase for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to $29.99. New Xbox CEO Asha Shar has brought up making changes, including to Game Pass but we weren’t sure what that meant until today. Team Xbox has announced price updates to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Xbox also revealed that beginning this year, new Call of Duty titles will no longer join Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass at launch.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate now costs $22.99 from $29.99 a month. PC Game Pass drops from $16.49 to $13.99 a month. Prices will vary by region.
Xbox Game Pass features four tiers to choose from: Essential, Premium, Ultimate, and PC.

New Call of Duty titles will be added to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass during the following holiday season which is going to be about a year later. Exisiting Call of Duty titles already in the library will continue to be available.
“Our players cover a wide breadth of geographies, preferences, and tastes, so while there isn’t a single model that’s best for everyone, this change responds to a lot of feedback we’ve gotten so far. We’ll continue to listen and learn,” Team Xbox said.
