Tactics Ogre Reborn Leaked Again, Releasing This November

Another season, another leak for the still yet-to-be-announced Tactics Ogre Reborn. While Square Enix will eventually make the official reveal, it seems like the game itself is doing anything it can to try and steal their thunder. This time it was through an accidental listing on PSDeals, where the game was shown with a complete listing of details and features. More importantly, it also showed the probable release date, November 11, for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The details and date have since been removed, but as always, enough people saw it and the information has now spread across the entire internet.

Some of the key features that were listed on the site include high-definition graphics, a fully revamped enemy AI, fully voiced cutscenes, both in English and Japanese and the original musical score which has been re-recorded with a symphony orchestra. The game will also come with what is now the standard on retro titles such as faster-paced battles, an auto-save system, and a completely overhauled control and UI system to make it much more user-friendly. It also appears that the class-level management system that was introduced in the 2010 remake’s release has been upgraded to a unit-to-unit leveling system.

As we already mentioned, this isn’t the first time that Tactics Ogre Reborn has been leaked in some capacity. The first time we were made aware of its existence was back in April when Square Enix filed trademark for the aforementioned title in their native Japan. Then, the game leaked onto the actual PSN store itself for a brief minute before being taken down. Now that we know all of the specific details on the game, as well as the release date, it’s more than likely a matter of time before Square Enix lets the cat out of the bag.

Tactics Ogre Reborn is a full high-definition remake of the 1995 classic JRPG Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, and the second official remake since the 2010 PSP release. If everything we’ve seen so far is accurate, then the game will release on November 11 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
