Super Rare Games, a London-based physical indie game publishing company, has announced that they’ve created their first indie publishing studio called Super Rare Originals. They have already shared five indie games planned for future release: Grapple Dog, The Gecko Gods, Lone Ruin, Completely Stretchy, and Post Void.
Currently, these five games are set to release on Steam for the PC, but Super Rare Games assures fans of the possibility of releasing them physically for consoles. Since these games will be available on Steam, Super Rare Games also encourages fans to add the games to their Steam wishlists to keep up with announcements and release dates.

Super Rare Games was established in 2018 with the intention to provide the video game collecting community with the best content for the Nintendo Switch. According to Super Rare Games’ website, the company has published the most physical Nintendo Switch games out of any publishing company in Europe, and they’re the second most in the whole world since the release of their first game in February 2018.
To this day, Super Rare Games continues to support and work with various indie developers to bring their titles onto physical, limited-edition copies for the Nintendo Switch, where they release games every three weeks. Each game is only physically printed once and with a certain amount of available copies, hence the company’s name. Some notable games that Super Rare Games has published for the Nintendo Switch include The Darkside Detective, Little Inferno and Little Inferno (SteelBook Version), and Monster Prom XXL with a special collector’s edition.
Super Rare Games will be revealing their next physical indie game release tomorrow, Jan. 21st, on Twitter. You can browse Super Rare Games’ current limited-edition selection here, but remember that there’s only a certain amount available for purchase.
