Recently slated for a highly anticipated release of May 12th for the Wii U, Nintendo fans have been waiting for their time in the sun with super fun, super challenging platforming game, Super Meat Boy, for a super long time. Originally delayed for Nintendo consoles back in 2010, it appears fans had a long time to wait before they would ever play the game on their Wii U…Super disappointing, to say the least.
But well worth the 5 year wait because it is actually happening!
ATTENTION: there will not be a Wiiware version of SMB. we are looking in to retail Wii, bit its also looking grim. still looking though.

The super meaty adventure will be available to purchase and play on the Wii U this upcoming May 12th for an initial kick-off sale of $14 USD, for the first two weeks of the game’s epic Nintendo release. With the Wii U added as a stud in its console belt, this marks the game’s last remaining major console missing in the collection (with Super Meat Boy already out for the Playstation, Xbox, PC, as well as Android and OS devices).
Not to outdone, the developers at Team Meat went even further. Sony fans were previously treated to a special release on the PlayStation Vita, giving Nintendo fans a chance to dream of a possible Nintendo 3DS release. However, with the Wii U launch sailing further and further out to sea, the 3DS idea felt a lot like a sinking ship; dismal and impossible to salvage. It was finally released on PS4 and Vita last year and with the Wii U version arriving this month, only the 3DS will be missing (but maybe not for too long ;)) Gotta catch them all!
