Super Meat Boy Forever is finally coming to mobile next year in 2022! The original platformer video game, Super Meat Boy, was originally released way back in 2010 and became a classic in the platform genre of gaming which was in its early stages at the time. Super Meat Boy Forever was first announced in 2014 as a sequel for mobile platforms to come out roughly around 2017 or 2018. Although it was originally intended for mobile, the sequel is just now making its way to game stores. It was first released in 2020 on Nintendo Switch where the game received overwhelmingly positive reviews. The Steam version will be coming soon sometime before the end of the year.
The developers, Thunderful Games, finally took charge to get Super Meat Boy Forever on track for its mobile debut. It was announced on Twitter yesterday. All information available is written on the developer’s blog post which can be found here. There isn’t much information given, but it does promise to explain more in 2022 exactly what will be included in this long-overdue mobile game. What we do get to know is that over 300 levels of beyond challenging gameplay will be included in this next version.

For those who are unfamiliar with this crazy game, it is a fast reaction platform game where you play as a meat cube on a mission to save his girlfriend from an evil baby stuck in a jar known as Dr. Fetus. If you are having trouble waiting to play this video game on mobile, there is a version of the original Super Meat Boy available for Android devices on the Google Play store. Unfortunately, it does cost $14.99 USD. The Nintendo Switch version is also available to play for $19.99 USD.
