During the Summer Games Fest, Monster Hunter Wilds announced Monster Hunter Wilds Ascendance, huge expansion to the Monster Hunter Wilds game. The trailer shows the team going to a Sky Region. First flying on birds, then exploring “Siberia” a region in the sky, full of massive structures, floating mini islands, unique structures and floating rocks. Characters run and fly through the world with birds, encountering enemy dragons that try to take them out, which they battle against with swords and a flaming arm. The trailer teases “moving natural disasters” dragons remove all in their path, an another absolutely humongous dragon in the 2027 release.
According to the press release for the upcoming expansion, it promises new “abilities” and an experience that’ll take Monster Hunting to new heights. They also notify the return of “Elder dragons” and “Master Rank content,” things fans can look forward too for the upcoming update. With new and old monsters, a new local and more, Monster Hunter Wilds fans no doubt have a wonderful year coming. While they wait, curious folks can try out Monster Hunter Wilds, it’s a game where people play as “hunters” who hunt monsters in a world where humans and monsters attempt to coexist.
