Summer Games Fest Reveal: Final Fantasy VII: Revelation The Trilogies’ Epic Conclusion Emerges 2027

Closing the Summer Games Fest, the final announcement was Final Fantasy VII Revelation’s trailers. In the earlier days of the Final Fantasy world, a meteor was sent to destroy the world for one person’s plan of “dominion.” But earth created creatures called “weapons” to face off against the meteor, inspiring the future to “fight.”

The Final Fantasy team learns of this tale, because the world’s descending into chaos again. This time, they’re facing off against Sephiroth who’s “nearing godhood,” and the weapon creatures again. To do so, they journey, going to new locations, facing off against creatures, using what might be new attacks against new creatures. As they continue, a military crew shoots against, one of the original weapons who fought against the meteor, who can no longer understand “friend or foe.”  The trailer showcases the unique designs of earth’s old “protectors,” one of the foes for the upcoming game, one of their blasts cause massive destruction. As the Final Fantasy Team goes forth, they intend to “test,” Clouds’ “faith.” In return Cloud “promises” to not “let them down.”  The Reveal trailer didn’t announce the release date or platforms for Final Fantasy VII Revelation but fans are hyped for the long awaited trilogy conclusion.

To give more information, The Final Fantasy 7 Director, and voice of Vincent Valentine came in person at the Summer Game Awards to drop a few words about the upcoming title, such as it’ll launch on “all platforms.” The Final Fantasy 7 Director notes that the game centers around “resolve” as Cloud and his friends challenge their “destinies,” and gain the “resolve” to go to the “final battle.” He also promises fans that he intends to “see the series through to its very end. We’re committed to delivering this experience in its ultimate form.”

Another Gameplay trailer, expands on the first one, showcasing that as the meteor descends upon the earth again, the team will be using the “High Wind” an “airship” to explore the new “open world” of Final Fantasy 7. Showing more of the three new cities in the world “Midgard, Madill and Wutai,” the team parachutes off the High Wind at desired destinations to explore the lands. All of the old team is back and they’re accompanying cloud on this journey, with individual stories to explore. There’ve also perfected the “hybrid battle system” of the previous games allowing for a whole new experience in battle, with “real time action” and “switches between party members.” There’s even a “tactical mode” with “new spells” and “activities,” team “synergies” and the ability to summon “entities,” and more.

To aid on the adventure, there’s a new character Vincent Valentine, who’s desire is to destroy Sephiroth, he’s a “gun slinger” that can do “precise, high yield shots” as well as can transform into a ” beast” to fight gaining “power.” He combines with Cid, the pilot to do combo moves. There’s also Cid Highwind, a pilot who wants to defeat Sephiroth as well, he uses a lance with for “powerfull strikes” and “area of effect attacks.” To aid in battle, there are “function, integrated tactical suit wear” that aid in battle. As it ends, the trailer emphasises that this is the “thrilling” finale of the Final Fantasy VII series, thus, it asks players to gather all that’s needed and join them “Once last time.”  To cap off everything the Final Fantasy Team showed a final teaser for some game footage, showing a weapon rising up, facing off against a military individual and huge tank system, before unleashing a blast that destroys the tank and ending the blast in the sky. Final Fantasy VII Revelation, will be out next Spring on Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X and S, Windows, Steam, PC and Epic Games Store.
