The Tokyo Game Show 2021 is in full effect, with many studios and companies using the platform to reveal new IP’s, as well updates on existing ones. Square Enix was one of those companies, and one of the more intriguing titles that they have in the works is easily Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, which was officially unveiled during E3 2021. Despite all of the Chaos jokes and memes that was brought about from the presentation, we’re still definitely interested in this one, and it looks like we won’t be waiting too much longer to get our hands on it. The company announced that Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin will officially launch on March 18, 2022 for PlayStation and Xbox consoles. They also revealed that it will launch on PC exclusively through the Epic Games Store.

Square Enix also released a brand new trailer, with some gameplay to boot. The visuals are mostly the same, albeit with a much cleaner look. As we already know, Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is being developed by Team Ninja with a Souls-like genre style of gamplay. This is exemplified in the trailer, as we see Jack hack and slash his way around enemies as well as some rather interesting bosses. At least we don’t hear him say chaos over and over this time.
In addition, Square Enix has released yet another demo for you to try out. It’s very similar to the first one, except this time you can play with others in a co-op experience. This demo is timed of course, and will be available until October 11. Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin will launch on March 18 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/Series S, and PC through the Epic Game Store.
