Strange Brigade Will Be Released on August 28, 2018

Strange Brigade will be released on PlayStation4, Xbox One, and PC on August 28, 2018. Recently, Rebellion Studio posted the teaser to hype Strange Brigade for E3 2018. As is a third-person shooter game like the previous Sniper Elite series, Strange Brigade has the background about the legacy of lost civilizations in the 1930s. The enemies faced by players in the game are corpses in the relic ruins, like mummies or other supernatural ghosts, which rewinds the setting of classic Hollywood movies like the Raiders Series (1981), and Mummy (1999), etc. Let take a look at its teaser.

In the trailer, we can see that the characters controlled by the players can equip various firearms, or tactical weapons, and use special abilities. Moreover, the trailer showed that there are many types of monsters in the game as well as treasure hunting elements and decryption elements in the game flow.

As a third-person perspective game, players can control either single or up to four characters and switch between characters with different abilities and weapon specialties. While players explore different relic ruins, they will encounter various supernatural monsters, and rely on the characters and weapons in their hands to defeat or escape from these monsters. Knowing that there will be four characters will will be beneficial to pick the best character for different situations. This will also help determine which relics will be the best to use in a given level. Players will explore forgotten ancient civilizations, dangerous tombs, or battles against mysterious witches of ancient Egypt.

This trailer catches the vibe of the impression of classic Hollywood films, and there will be more information and interview sections about Strange Brigade presenting on e3 this year. As a special bonus leading up to E3, a new co-op gameplay trailer has just been released today for all to see.
