Today, Roost Games has shared more good news with the Steam community about Cat Cafe Manager 2: Big City Bliss. The game was selected for Steam’s Wholesome Games Celebration 2026, which starts August 6 at 10AM (PT) and ends August 13. It is the fourth year that the celebration is being held and it features a variety of cozy games.

The celebration is said to feature new demos, releases, and world premiere game announcements. There will also be a line-up of discounts announced for some cozy games, so cozy game lovers definitely want to mark their calendars for this Thursday! Games featured are also carefully selected as games highlighted inspire players with hope, joy, and introspection.

It comes as no surprise that Cat Cafe Manager 2 was selected as part of this years celebration. It is certainly a wholesome game with joyful and heartwarming moments. This means that the demo for the game will be available on the first day of the Wholesome Games Celebration.

The demo launch is only available on Steam beginning at 10 AM (PST). Today also marks the end of the game’s playtests, which had begun on July 27th. Roost Games stated that the limited slots for the testing was filled within a day, revealing that there are cozy gamers who can’t wait for the sequel to come!

For those who already have a playtest key, the developers are allowing them to continue play testing up until the demo’s release. They can also continue to report bugs or suggestions via their discord channel. It is also thanks to the participants of the playtest that Cat Cafe Manager 2 has been refined for the demo launch.

There was a reveal trailer posted on Roost Games’ Youtube channel on August 15th, 2024. Since then the game has come a long way and is getting closer to being ready for launch. There is still no set launch date, but those interested in the game can see it’s beautiful 2.5D artstyle in the trailer.
