State Of Play June 2025: Trailer For Silent Hill f Revealed At PlayStation State of Play

Fans of the Silent Hill games will be able to play another installment of the franchise, as it was announced at PlayStation: State of Play that Silent Hill f, developed by Neobards Entertainment Unlimited and published by Konami, will be released on September 25, 2025. It will use the Unreal Engine 5, and it will be available for gamers on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game will also be rated M due to intense violence, blood and gore, and partial nudity. The Silent Hill franchise is survival-based horror game, and to no surprise, the trailer featured many horror themes, including monsters.

It is set to take place in 1960s Japan, and will follow Shimizu Hinako, a young girl whose town gets overrun by fog. Playing as Hinako, gamers will be able to fight monsters and solve puzzles throughout the town as seen in the trailer. The town the game is set in is Ebisugaoka, which once had bolstering economy, but has fallen on hard times. This is set to be the 18th Silent Hill game, and the last one that was released was the Silent Hill 2 Remake. Based on social media feedback, many fans are pleased with the trailer, and are excited for when the game will be released. Here are a few of the reactions:
