State Of Play June 2025: Pragmata Announcement: To Be Released 2026

In the June 2025 State of Play hosted by Sony, Capcom Studios reintroduced the delayed game Pragmata, now set to release in 2026. The game’s reintroduction featured a thrilling official cinematic trailer featuring futuristic technology and characters from the game. 



State of Play was announced last minute by Sony to take place today, June 4th, 2025, and Instant Gaming News theorized that Capcom would be showcasing Pragmata in the State of Play event. Pragmata was indefinitely delayed in 2023 after its reveal in 2020, making its announcement shocking news.

The title is advertised as an action sci-fi genre style of game with profound story and setting in the future of modern day, created by developers of Resident Evil and Devil May Cry, according to the official PlayStation website. The trailer itself features a father-daughter sort of duo, known as Hugh and Diana, the duo are transported to the moon. According to a Gamepress article, the player will be able to control both characters despite the game being entirely single-player.

Pragmata will be released on PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the provider Steam. The game will also be fully supported across 11 different languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean. Subtitles for the game will also be provided in Polish, Arabic, and Simplified Chinese.
