If you’ve played Stardew Valley, you’re probably familiar with Junimos. They’re those mysterious, round creatures that push the player toward reviving the Community Center and working hard on the farm. Although their history is unknown, there’s no denying that they’re quite cute! Now, fans can have an adorable Junimo to hold with the exciting announcement of an official Junimo plush collection arriving in Spring 2024.
In a post on Twitter/X, merchandise company Sanshee announced that, in collaboration with Stardew Valley creator, Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone, they will be producing four “super squishy” Junimo Pillow Plushes. The plushies will come in green, orange, pink and blue color variants and are 10 inches wide and 10 inches tall for ideal hugging measures. For $34.99, you can order one of these cuties on the Sanshee website for delivery in Spring 2024.
Sanshee is well-known for creating official merchandise for a variety of other video games, anime and their original content. This isn’t their first collaboration with ConcernedApe either; their collection boasts even more plushies of popular marriage candidates Abigail, Sebastian, Shane, and chickens that come in brown, white, golden, black and blue color variants. The site also has various enamel pins and some t-shirts if plushies aren’t your thing.
Although it’s possible the Junimo plush might be the last piece of Stardew Valley news we get this year, it’s undeniable that 2023 has been a joyous year for Stardew Valley fans. Back in April, ConcernedApe stated the game would be receiving a 1.6 update, with later comments in September confirming the addition of a new major festival, more end-game content, more crafting recipes, 100+ more lines of dialogue and winter outfits for the villagers. Although there’s no confirmed release date, it’s certain to be worth the wait. In October, ConcernedApe announced concert series titled “Festival of Seasons” would be touring worldwide starting in 2024.
The Junimo Pillow Plush is currently available for preorder on the Sanshee website with an estimated delivery date of Spring 2024.
