Sixteen of the best Starcraft 2 players the world has to offer compete for $150,000 in prize money this weekend in Cologne, Germany at the World Championship Series.
Not only are the players competing for money, they’re also battling over points that will earn them a place at the Global Finals held at Blizzcon later this year. Though the competition is, as usual, dominated by Korean players, there are players from Canada, the Netherlands, and Finland who have a fighting chance at placing high.
Unfortunately for US viewers, the championship takes place on Cologne time so some of the matches are held in the wee hours of the morning. For the stream and a full schedule of the matches, head to the official WCS website.
