Publisher EA has revealed that the first official look at the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Survivor from Respawn will be later this week on Thursday, December 8 at The Game Awards. The game was first announced earlier this year during Star Wars Celebration. Earlier today, release date for the game may have also been leaked.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor picks up five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Cal Kestis must stay one step ahead of the Empire’s constant pursuit as he continues to feel the weight of being one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy.
The leak comes from Steam which says that the release date will be March 15, 2023. The page, which has already been updated, also provided new details about the game including a look at the pre-purchase bonus content.
According to the leaked Steam page, Cal will get additional force abilities and new lightsaber fighting styles. Players will have to creatively leverage all of Cal’s new abilities and weapons to strategically take on an expanded host of enemies, sizing up strengths and weaknesses while cleverly utilizing your training to overcome your opponents and solve the mysteries that lay in your path. There will be new planets and familiar frontiers in the Star Wars galaxy, each with unique biomes, challenges, and enemies. Players will master new skills, equipment, and abilities that will augment the ways they can explore, fight, and roam. There will be larger areas to explore and more to discover off the beaten path, players who adventure beyond the horizon will find hidden rewards.
