Earlier today details for the season pass of the upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront were revealed by publisher Electronic Arts. The season pass will be valued at $50 and will include 4 expansion packs.
The expansions that have been announced will be filled with new content, and season pass holders will be given an incentive to get all four expansions up front: two-week early access to each expansion pack and an exclusive “Shoot First” emote.
The new season pass for Battlefront is said to follow the same pricing model with some of EA’s most recent games including Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline. Each season pass was priced at $50 and featured many perks, like multiplayer maps.
This new season pass will be included in the Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition which will be priced at $119.98.
Along with the announcement of the season pass, EA also announced new game modes that will be included in Star Wars Battlefront. One of the modes, droid run, allows players to battle each other in 6 on 6 matches to capture walking GNK power droids; and hero hunt where players will take on the role of characters like Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett, etc. in single player situation against a team of 7 players.
Star Wars Battlefront will launch on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on Nov. 17.
