Star Wars Battlefront 2 Players Can Now Go Undercover as Matt the Radar Technician

Back in 2016, Adam Driver, one of the stars of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, made an appearance hosting Saturday Night Live. One sketch from that night remains popular almost two years later.

The sketch was a parody of the TV series Undercover Boss, where high-level employees of large companies disguise themselves and go undercover in their own company to learn more about what the workers experience every day and to hear their unfiltered opinions.

In the sketch, his character Kylo Ren, commander of Starkiller Base and Darth Vader wannabe, goes undercover as Matt the Radar Technician. It is a great sketch that manages to lovingly poke fun at the premise of Undercover Boss, Kylo Ren as a character, and the Star Wars universe as a whole. It turns out, Kylo isn’t great at keeping his cool and maintaining his cover.

Now, a mod has surfaced for Star Wars Battlefront 2 that turns Kylo Ren into his alter ego, and allows players to fight as the famed radar technician. The mod doesn’t do anything besides change the skin on Kylo’s character model, so you’ll have to imagine the witty exchanges with Storm Troopers yourself.

The mod is currently only available on the PC version of the game in arcade and competitive modes. Players can download the mod and go undercover at Nexus Mods. You can see how it looks in action in the video below.
