Square Enix has officially announced that they will be releasing another off road Motocross game next year besides for Gravel. Before the Monster Energy Cup 2017, the company announced Monster Energy Supercross, the officially licensed motocross game. The game will be developed by the very same studio behind Gravel there is was also an announcement trailer revealed.
It will feature real world motocross stadiums, bikes, and athletes from the 2017 Monster Energy AMA Supercross. The game aims to make the controls feel as real as possible allowing players to be able to choose from two separate classes 250SX and 450SX. Then the player will be able to choose from roster of notable racers including current champion Ryan Dugney.
Monster Energy Supercross will also feature a career mode with a wide variety of customization options that allow players to make in depth changes to both their racer and their bikes. Players will even be able to create tracks with the course editor and share their created and customized motocross tracks with others online.
Monster Energy Supercross will release for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC early next year on February 13. It was also announced that the game will then be heading to the Nintendo Switch shortly after but an exact date hasn’t been given at this time. Perhaps closer to release more will be revealed on the matter. Gravel, the game’s counterpart made by the same studio is geared up to be released next year as well for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
