Adorable and hair-pullingly difficult game Spelunky is getting released on Steam and GOG.com next month. Included in the release is a new daily challenge mode, which generates a random level every day that all players can try only once for leaderboard bragging rights.

Spelunky generates a unique emotion called “anger-fun”.

Spelunky originally released way back in 2009 as a freeware PC game, and in 2012 came out on Xbox Live Arcade. Things come full circle as it’s released back onto PC, with PS3 and Vita releases supposedly not far off.
