Softstar Entertainment has announced the console release of it’s sequel title to The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation, according to Game Source Entertainment (GSE)
Initially announced in October 2023, The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is a direct follow up to Road to Salvation, which was a video game sequel to the 2020 Taiwanese horror film, The Bridge Curse.
The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is a first-person survival horror game set at Wen Hua University, one of the ten universities in Taiwan known for its unsettling ghost stories.
Players take the role of a reporter attempting to solve an old missing persons case and the school’s film club planning to re-create a crime old case into a horror movie for University’s Carnival of Horror event. Unfortunately during the filming process, strange events begin to occur, leading to the campus building being overrun by violent spectators.
Players will need to evade the supernatural threats stalking them as they search the school grounds for objects that get them closer to figuring out the source for all the chaos.
The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is now coming to Xbox O|X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in 2024.
