Previously announced for 2016 holiday release for the Nintendo 3DS, official newest Pokemon titles Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon just might be getting a footage sneak peak this April 3rd. Hopefully this is not some rotten April Fool’s Joke. The rumor is currently circulating on popular and credible Pokemon super fan forum, Serebii.net, that during an episode of the well known Japanese/Pokemon-themed variety show, Gathering at the Pokémon House, will feature a huge surprise for viewers.
Quoted below, as courtesy of Serebii, it is confirmed that on April 3rd, these important Pokemon figures will appear on the weekly Pokemon House:
Director Junichi Masuda will be on, alongside battle director Shigeki Morimoto and Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire game director Shigeru Ohmori and will talk about the new games, presumably Pokémon Sun & Moon and will feature the first TV aired footage.
This marks the seventh generation in the Pokemon series.
This next year looks to be a busy for Pokemon, with Pokemon GO on the horizon, board game/augmented reality app, and another installment to their title series. And with Pokemon GO already doing beta testing in Japan, the Pokemon Company must truly have their hands full!
We can expect to (with hopefully no delays on the horizon) see Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon our for Nintendo 3DS this holiday season. Fans can also tune in for the big Pokemon announcement April 3rd. And don’t worry about international/translation problems: Serebii has promised fans detailed updates when informations is available!
It is not known if the footage will be released officially on the Internet beforehand but we will post as soon as anything is revealed.
