Smite 7.8 Update Notes Reveals The God of the Moon

With fans being aware of the potential arrival of the God of the Moon, Tsukuyomi, coming to Smite; many players were excited to see that this new God will become a candidate to play throughout the game and now that chance has finally come. Today, fans will now have the opportunity to play with the Moon God, Tsukuyomi, and playout his power abilities with the Smite 7.8 update added to the game.

On Smite’s official website, they discussed Tsukuyomi and his personality is as the Moon God. They stated, “Might makes right. To impose order, to bend the world to your will – these are the marks of a true leader. Only a true leader has the strength of will and the force of arms to make his enemies bow before him. Only a true leader deserves the respect and adulation of his followers. These are the guiding principles of Tsukuyomi’s existence.”

They continue, “Proud, but violent, he is the God of the Moon and the Night. Wielding his twin tonfa, Shingetsu, and Mangetsu, he overcomes his enemies wit effortless skill and a mocking laugh, forcing them to bow before him – for what good is victory without an audience to see it?”

Based on Tsukuyomi’s abilities, his most affected attacks are the piercing moon. With this move, he channels the power of the Full Moon, with that he will be gaining Crowd Control immunity and 50% Damage Reduction. He fires forward 4 powerful piercing beams of moonlight. With his enemies hit they take on the damage and become marked. With each beam, it can hit up to 3 enemy gods. After firing all the beams Tsukuyomi charges forward at light speed, dashing through all enemies in the order they were hit, dealing heavy damage. The Moon God, Tsukuyomi will end his dashing once the final enemy is hit.

With this new update being out now fans will finally have a chance to play with the God of the Moon, Tsukuyomi, players will know his true power and how effective he can really be. Smite update 7.8 update of the God of the Moon is out now.
