Smash Brothers DLC Nears The End

Many people have fallen in love with the Smash Brothers series for many reasons. Most love it because you can enjoy the game as a button masher or as a complex fighting game. The game is very user friendly to newer players who are not familiar with more complicated fighting games with their complex half circle moves and other complexities that keep many users out who do not understand how they work or have the time to invest. Super Smash Brothers is for all intensive purposes the party fighting game of choice for many Nintendo Fans. The newest game has branched out more than ever with it’s list of characters not only in amount of characters but also in the incredible third party character line up that most thought impossible.

From Final Fantasy to Metal Gear Solid, Sonic, Pac Man Megaman and more. Along with incredible first party Nintendo character support. There’s enough DLC here to fill anyone’s gaming battle fantasy. However all good things have to come to an end Nintendo has announced that all Super Smash Brothers related DLC will be coming to an end soon says Gamespot. Leaving behind a legacy of an amazing game that is still fun and exciting to play today as when it first came out.  Yes many players still sweat by the original and even more so in the competitive scene the Gamecube version but, for those of you who want to chose from an incredible amount of fast, heavy, technical, ranged, short etc styles the Wii U/3DS versions of Smash are the best ever made.

Along with the last Nintendo Direct for Super Smash Brothers it looks like this will be the end for now. You might think they would talk about what is next for Smash Brothers and possibly a Nintendo NX version of Smash Brothers to possibly boost the hype for the new system. Instead Gamestop reported that they are unsure about the future of the series. However anything is possible.
