Remember those moments when you played that creep-out horror game Slender: Eight Pages, which came out back in 2012, and how you got scared every time you picked up a page, and the static showed up on your laptops? Well this time, you are still on your own, with no one to come for you or to help you. You will not be heard when you scream. Indie publishing label of Majesco Entertainment Company, Midnight City and Canadian based indie game development studio Blue Isle Studios, has announced that Slender: The Arrival will be creeping his way to PlayStation 3 on September 23rd and Xbox 360 on September 24th for $9.99 via PSN and Xbox Live Game Store.
Blue Isle Studios is a 4 person team and this is the only official Slender Man game, which Slender: The Arrival was first released on PC via Steam back in October 28th, 2013. The Arrival puts players in the middle of it all in this mystery that surrounds this character known as Slender, but do you really want to get to knew this character that has terrorized millions? Turn off the lights around you as you play this game that has you walking around in the dark, and discover a story that is filled with terror, and paranoia.
Those who currently own the game on PC via Steam will be given the new content at no additional charge as free DLC.
The game is written by the indie game development team that brought you the Marble Hornets video series, which gives the latest iteration in the events that unfold around the myth of Slender Man. With the successful launch last year on Steam, the team is bringing the horror persona to your consoles with a brand new story and also features extended levels that will go even deeper into the mythos of Slender Man. The indie publishing label Midnight City, will not only be launching this horror game, but will be bringing a Halloween oriented game sequel known as Costume Quest 2, which will be released this Halloween season from Double Fine Productions.
