Polish game developer Bloober Team is working on another horror game alongside Skybound Entertainment thanks to a recent licensing agreement.
Codenamed R, the upcoming game will be based on one of Skybound’s many famous IPs, including The Walking Dead and Invincible. While it’s unknown when production will begin, the game will be revealed sometime in 2025.
Piotr Babieno, Bloober Team CEO, shared his excitement in the announcement’s press release.
“This project is another step in our second-party strategy, where we work with external partners to provide our horror know-how,” stated Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno in a press release. “These are titles that are meant to not only give us financial profit, but are the next steps in achieving our strategy by the end of 2027. We have known our friends from Skybound for a long time and I am sure it will be a successful cooperation.”
Alongside Project R, Bloober developing other partner projects including the Silent Hill 2 remake with Konami and an unnamed survival horror game with Private Division, a Take-Two publishing label.
