It has been a decade since a skateboarding game was a big hit with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series being one of the top skating games ever developed.
Skater XL has changed the way we view skateboarding video games with their new and improve style that will take you into the world of skateboarding without feeling like you’re missing out on any of the real-life experiences of being a Pro Skater. In this game, they put the focus on the fans and what they believe will push them to use some of the newly developed features that they added to the game.
Some of the features include freedom of expression where players get a chance to program their own unique style of tricks into the game by controlling the movement of the thumbsticks. With this method, it gives audiences and fans the complete control and freedom for whatever trick, flips, and stunts they feel will fit their virtual skating world. Another cool feature that was added to the game was that players get to go to real-life skating locations. This includes a very well accurate replica of Downtown Los Angeles to their skating roster and other legendary locations that are well-known skate spots that will have fans spotting in a matter of seconds. Also adding to the mix are some well-known skating icons like Tiago Lemos, Evan Smith, Tom Astra, or Brandon Westgate where fans will get a chance to play as these Pros.
