Didn’t get the chance to join the Creation Kit Beta on PC? Well now you can have a chance! Bethesda just recently announced the are going to expand the Beta allowing for more people to join in and create new things. What exactly does the Creation Kit do? The Creation Kit gives more power to the players allowing them to further customize the apocalyptic world by creating mods, items, and other objects in the game which would be able to be shared to the rest of the Fallout 4 community. By opening up the Creation Kit to the community encourages the players to collaborate and express their imagination to create something new for the community’s enjoyment.
What is great about this is that these mods will not only be available for PC, but also for the PS4 and Xbox One. However, Director Todd Howard said, “it’ll probably be a good month before it hits Xbox One, and another month for PlayStation 4.”The full Creation Kit is expected to be released sometime in April, but in the meantime the next expansion is expected to come out on April 12th. This new expansion is titled Wasteland Workshop, so is mainly directed towards the players who like to craft their own things.
These new crafting additions to the game gives the player a wider range of how they want they’re post apocalyptic world to run. With the encouragment of player creations, Bethesda has helped make Fallout 4 a better game, since as a community we could put in our view of what the world would look like or just completely make it unrealistic for fun. Either play style is fine since you would now be able to make the world what you want.
The way you can put your name in for a chance to be a part of the beta is really simple, all it takes is two quick steps that you can follow on GameSpot’s post.
