Sifu Is Coming To Xbox & Steam Next Year Alongside New Arenas Mode

Today, developer Sloclap has revealed and announced that Sifu, one of mxdwn’s top games of 2022, will be coming to Xbox and Steam next year. In addition, Title Update 4 is releasing at the same time which brings in the new game mode Arenas.

Sifu is a realistic third-person brawler with tight Kung Fu combat mechanics and cinematic martial arts action. Players take on the role of a young student on a quest for revenge, hunting down those who killed their family. One against all, you have no allies, countless enemies, and a mysterious amulet to bring you back to life every time you die. However, every time you die, you age which means you hit harder but also take more damage.

Players will have to learn to dodge, parry, strike, and use combos while fighting their way through a variety of different locations such as the underbelly of a nightclub, scrambling through a refined gallery, vertically navigating through a towering office building, and more. Everything is at your disposal: throwable objects, makeshift weapons, windows, and ledges… as you learn from your errors, unlock unique skills, and find the strength to master the devastating techniques of Pak Mei Kung Fu.

The new Arenas mode lets players test their skills and unlock new moves in a variety of new environments and challenges. Completing arenas unlocks a massive new modifiers batch, doubling the current game’s amount, and new cheats and exclusive new outfits.

Title Update 4 with the new Arenas mode and the release of Sifu on Xbox and Steam will take place next year sometime in March.
