The third game in the Shantae series is coming to the 3DS eShop this Winter, and developer Wayforward has launched a Kickstarter to fund a fourth Shantea game.
Wayforward promised more Shantae games last year, hopeful that the character would make an appearance on the Wii U.
Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse is coming to the 3DS this year. The Kickstarter Shantae project, Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, changes the art style of the previous games dramatically and is already confirmed for Wii U. Wayforward is hopeful that the Kickstarter campaign will allow it to bring the game to more platforms. Currently, Half-Genie Hero has received $182,000 of it’s $400,000 goal, with 26 days to go.
Wayforward recently released DuckTales: Remastered and the Mighty Switch Force games.
