For those who have been waiting for the Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection to come to PC, a possible leak suggests that you won’t be waiting much longer. Epic Games released a blog post that outlined good portion of their upcoming released for 2022 on their Epic Games Store. One of these entries was the aforementioned Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection, which also linked to the official listing page. Although it has since been removed, the listing showed the actual release date, June 20, 2022, which means that the PC iteration could launch just in time for the Summer.
In the actual blog post, Epic Games had it phrased as “Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection PC Release date is June 20, 2022″ before it was quickly changed to “Coming soon.” Unfortunately, too many people had already seen it and was subsequentially shared all over the internet. Regardless of this potential leak, the June 20 date seems much more plausible at this point as we haven’t heard nor seen any indication of a closer time frame for the set to launch on PC.
Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection released earlier this year for the PlayStation 5. The collection houses graphically updated versions of Uncharted 4: A Thieves End, and its standalone expansion Uncharted: Lost Legacy. Both were originally released for the PlayStation 4 in 2016 and 2017 respectively and both were also critically acclaimed, especially the former which has gone onto be considered one of the greatest games of all time.
The PC iterations were announced at the same time as the PlayStation 5 versions, albeit without any concrete dates. The PlayStation 5 version would eventually get a launch date of January 28, while those on PC are still waiting for an official confirmation for one. Since neither Sony, Naughty Dog, nor Epic Games have officially commented on the supposed June 20 date, this should be taken with a slight grain of salt. At the same time, we wouldn’t be surprised if either company cements the date in the near future.
