Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos, Launches today on PC and Switch

Today Team17 and Heliocentric Studios released their newest rogue-lite adventure Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos, on both PC and Nintendo Switch. Team17 has a reputation for being involved in making quality titles such as the Overcooked and the Worms series. This new game is a cooperative multiplayer game that features rogue-lite mechanics, such as randomized dungeon layouts and upgrading your warriors.

In Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos, players will explore a series of procedurally generated dungeons set in the world of Tasos. Players must enter these dungeons and defeat the Titans within, in order to save the world. Up to four players can cooperate together in order to tackle dungeons. Along their journey, players will find and utilize a number of classic weapons and tools such as a boomerang, bow and arrow, and a grappling hook. Gems can be earned during your time in dungeons. These gems can then be used to rebuild your hometown of Intori, which will allow the player to access upgrades for their characters.

Players can also unlock new equipment and classes to play as. Players can play the game together both online and locally. The game should provide a challenge no matter how you choose to play, as the puzzles and challenges within the dungeons scale based on how many players are working together. Players will be able to customize their characters with a variety of classes that each have different benefits and abilities. Class choices include classics such as knight, thief, and mage as well as unique ones like witch and pirate.

Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos is now available on both PC and Nintendo Switch. The game can be bought and downloaded on steam for $19.99 USD. Those who are interested in the game are able to download a free demo on both Steam and Switch.
