According to Psyonix, Season 4 of Rocket League Sideswipe is now live and available to players! The newest season will bring a lot of content to the game, including a new mode, event, and more. Although it is a free to play mobile game, Rocket League Sideswipe is continuously adding more content to keep fans interested.
Mutator Madness is the newest game mode and will be a casual mode within the game. Random mutators will change the rules of the map and allow players to vote on what they thought after they finish each game. The input from the players will then change the combination of mutators until there is a decision to be announced on Friday. The winning combination will then be available to players for their use throughout the weekend, while also utilizing a double XP boost.
In addition to the new game mode, Season 4 will be bringing a crossover event with Rocket League. The event will last until July 19 and offer a prize for those who complete the event. Players have an opportunity to win a Calculated Goal Explosion for both Rocket League Sideswipe and Rocket League, while also earning a Calculated Avatar for Sideswipe. Players will have to check that they have linked the accounts for each game together to ensure they get the reward on both accounts.
Finally, Season 4 will include a new arena called Eggscalibur, as well as new daily challenges and a new Rocket pass. Season 3 rewards will also be given out during Season 4 based on the rankings of the previous season. The new season will also include small bug fixes and the return of Ranked Hoops.
