The good news doesn’t stop for indie mega-hit Rocket League, as developer Psyonix revealed a brand new basketball style mode for Rocket League. Before Rocket League focused on soccer-with-cars, but now the game is expanding with the all new “Hoops” mode. The new mode is set to launch sometime in April, although no specific date has been released yet.

The arena shown in the gif above is the Dunk House, and it requires a little bit more skill than the regular soccer arenas. Hoops mode seems to take a little more skill, as players will have to hone their boost abilities to get the ball in the hoop.
By now, anyone familiar with gaming has either heard of or played Rocket League. The game has had a huge amount of success, with a retail release, being the first game to have cross platform play on Xbox One, and making nearly $50 million dollars. This is all just with the standard soccer mode, and now Rocket League is getting a new game mode that will please current players and newcomers.
