Rocket League has been quite popular on twitch and in the competitive gaming scene. Those of you who haven’t tried it might think it’s literally just driving around ‘kicking’ a ball into a goal. You may think all you have to do is do this faster and better than the other team. Those who have played it know how complex and skill based the game is. With this new update those skills are going to be even more necessary.
The update coming out in November according to GameSpot is bringing a whole new ball game. First off we have something called mutators. Which are all new ‘soccer balls’ that have special features. First up is the gravity or moon ball which will float and bounce like you are on the moon making it a whole new challenge to those who anticipate how the ball moves and how to shoot at the goal. Demolition ball that literally explodes everything around it when it hits. A bizarre square magical cube like ball and a time ball which hasn’t been completely revealed yet.
Either way the crazy amount of new features make this free update worth logging back in. You will have all kinds of new ways you need to rocket around and hit the ball to score. This really will amp up the game to a new level with something different. Those not satisfied with even those update from Psyonix will be happy to know that they are also adding Hockey by the end of the year says GameSpot.
