Rocket League, the breakout indie hit from last year, is getting released for the XBOX ONE. The winner of the Best Indie Game at the Game Awards 2015 is already available for Steam and PS4, so it’s great to see this game get exposure to an even wider audience. It was tweeted by Rocket League that a set date hasn’t been confirmed, but the team is pushing for a February release date.
@JamzplaysFIFA We're currently going through the certification process with @ID_Xbox. Mid-February is still our target. Glad you're excited!

It’s pretty amazing how popular Rocket League has become. From a premise that sounds like it belongs on the N64, Rocket League has made over 50 million dollars and has a competitive league with millions of players. It goes to show that even if your game is about Rocket Cars that play soccer, as long as you make it fun you can have something that will be beloved by people everywhere. Good job Rocket League, keep doing what you’re doing.
