Rocket League has announced a collaboration with the new Batman movie that will bring the Batmobile back to the game. The game has previously included themes from older movies and events that included Batman. Rocket League players have seen additions of the Batman Halloween Bundle and a 2016 Batmobile to celebrate the arrival of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The newest Batmobile will be different from previous versions and will be inspired by the car driven by Robert Pattinson in the 2022 movie.
The hero that Rocket League deserves is back with a brand new car for 2022. 🦇

The newest addition to the game is available for purchase as part of a DLC bundle for players. The bundle will cost a total of 1,100 in-game credits in the Rocket League shop but will include various parts that can be added to the user’s car. To start, the bundle includes the Batmobile body, wheels, boost, and trail. Also included is a Dark Knight matte paint finish, goal explosion themed around the Caped Crusader and even a Real-Life Decal. All of these items can be equipped to the 2022 Batmobile and are limited to just this body. The only exception in the bundle is the goal explosion, which can be equipped onto any car the players choose. The bundle will be released on March 2 and is available for purchase until March 8, 2022.
In addition to the Batman Bundle, the game also announced the return of a limited-time game mode called Gotham City Rumble. In this mode, the classic Rumble Mode has been transformed to incorporate different themes from the Batman movie. Players are able to use power-ups that are based around previous villains from Batman movies and comics including Poison Ivy’s vines, the Joker’s boxing glove and even Clayface’s spikes. Like the bundle, this game mode is available from March 2 until March 8, 2022.
The new Batman movie will be coming to theaters on March 4, 2022 and is expected to do incredibly well in the box office.
