Sega and Gamefan have announced a collaboration that will bring Sonic the Hedgehog into the Roblox platform. The two will work together to create the Sonic Speed Simulator. Gamefan is an independent studio that has previously worked with other major companies such as Sony, Ubisoft, and more.
This is the first time a high level gaming character has been featured in Roblox and it is likely because of the new Sonic the Hedgehog movie. The game is already available on the Roblox platform for players to experience.
The Sonic Speed Simulator is the fastest game on Roblox where players transform into Sonic the Hedgehog and explore unique worlds. As players progress, they can race against friends to level up and gain more speed. There are also rewards throughout the game such as Sonic skins and even pets that increase Sonic’s stats.
As the game grows, players can expect weekly updates to add more content and fix any bugs. Additionally, 10,000 “likes” will spark a reward for players who have already downloaded the game. Although players are unsure what it will be, they will likely receive an exclusive skin or another reward.
