Just recently, the official gameplay overview trailer for RoadCraft was released for players to see. By the end of the trailer, it is shown that players will be able to pre-order the game and the official game will be released on May 20th of this year. It is said to be coming out on PC through Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series x/s.

RoadCraft is a construction simulator that focuses on rebuilding disastrous areas. According to the description on Steam, it says, “You run a disaster recovery company, specialized in restoring sites devastated by natural disasters. Numerous tasks await you and your heavy machinery as you work to restart the local industry: clearing debris, replacing faulty equipment, rebuilding roads and bridges damaged by bad weather, deploying resource convoys to produce new reconstruction materials, and much more!”

The overview trailer shows what players will be able to do and see in the game. It teases that there will be a variety of disaster-stricken environments and players will be able to operate over 40 construction vehicles that have their own unique abilities. Players can also enjoy the unparalleled interaction with the environment they are surrounded by, and experience realtime physics for elements like sand, water, or asphalt with the new engine developed by Saber Interactive, all according to the trailer and the Steam page.

There will be eight massive and vast maps for players to explore and enjoy. Players can choose from visiting the forest areas to deserts, each map bringing its own different biomes and buildings for each map. Players can collect their own wood, cement, or the debris from the disaster zone to use for the reconstruction process. The game also allows for players to set up a co-op session with up to four other players, and the tasks can be distributed to each player, or they could focus on a single objective together.
