Bluepoch Games and Ubisoft have unleashed the Reverse: 1999 × Assassin’s Creed collaboration worldwide today. For the first time ever, players around the globe can experience this crossover event in real time, diving into two phases that merge alt-history strategy RPG action with iconic characters from Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey.

The star of Phase I is Ezio Auditore da Firenze; he arrives on a special banner called A Prophet Guided by Time, complete with a twist on Reverse: 1999’s mechanics. Ezio can swap his weapon based on the party makeup, maximizing synergy. Best of all, after a certain number of pulls (100/160/220/280), players earn additional Ezio copies. Phase II will follow the same pull-based bonus format for Kassandra.

Players step into Renaissance Florence on a mission called La Primavera di Firenze, where Vertin and allies uncover cryptic assassins, golden apples, and hidden messages beneath cathedral domes. The narrative is atmospheric, poetic, and faithful to both franchises.

Players will also receive a free monthly pass, granting 2,700 clear drops, roughly equal to 15 summon pulls. Community members can earn at least 43 free gacha pulls throughout Phase I. As part of the celebration, APPLe receives a new garment for free. Alexios, the third key character from Odyssey, will become available in Phase II at no cost for event participants.

A new event mode, Into the Shadows, opens up Florence, Venice, and Monteriggioni for exploration, assassination, and currency gathering. Players spend that event currency to renovate the villa in Monteriggioni and unlock enhancements. Swapping Guild Tokens even lets characters change jobs mid-run, unlocking fresh abilities.

On top of the new event mode, Soaring Over Mount Olympus brings new outfits and skills for Vila, Hissabeth, and Marcus. A themed Wilderness pack called Memories of Florence is only available during the event. Completing the Special Mane’s Bulletin Eagle Vision Edition nets exclusive rewards. Starting September 6, players can take on the time-limited Haunted Highway route for Old Keys and exclusive loot.

Rumors were confirmed with leaks that Phase II would send players to Ancient Greece. They’ll team up with Odyssey’s characters and uncover conspiracies tied to the Cult of Kosmos. Kassandra herself appears on a new banner, Wine-Dark Reflections of the Eagle. Like Ezio’s banner, a series of pulls unlock extra copies, and a free garment, Psychube, and a portrait await attendees of the event story.

Reverse: 1999 is available now on Steam, iOS, Google Play, and Windows PC. Phase I runs from August 7 to September 15 (UTC‑5), with Phase II and added content over the summer.
