As part of its May update, Xbox and Antstream Arcade have announced the launch of Retro Classics, available for Game Pass members of all tiers. The streaming service offers more than 1,300 retro games for players to play on demand. The Xbox version offers more than 60 classic Activision games from the 80s and 90s, including Commando, Grand Prix, Kaboom!, Mech Warrior 2: 31st Century Combat, and Pitfall.

Retro Classics is available across console, PC, and supported devices with cloud gaming such as an Xbox console, the Xbox app on PC, streaming through supported LG and Samsung Smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV devices, and Meta Quest headsets. All Game Pass members have to do to access the new service is by searching and installing the feature via their console or on the Xbox app on PC. Challenges are available for players to take on theor friends, rivals, or the entire world. Achievements will also be available for players to collect. Players will also be ab;e to save and reload their progress which is a first for many classic titles.

For a limited time, Game Pass members can sign up to the full Antstream catalog for $9.99 / £9.99 for their first year to commemorate the partnership. The offer ends on June 4. Xbox has said more titles will be added from Activision and Blizzard which will expand the Retro Classics collection to more than 100+ titles over time.
