The developing team behind Titanfall and Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment, first announced that they would be doing a Star Wars game in collaboration with EA and Lucasfilms back during June 2018. It was given the title Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and would be a whole new Star Wars adventure that would take place shortly after the events of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith following a young Padawan who survived Order 66. Aside from a 2019 release date, there wasn’t much information about the upcoming game. There were a few speculations about who might show up and what could possibly happen in terms of plot, until an episode of The Star Wars Show happened:
This week on The #StarWarsShow: #TheMandalorian wraps principal photography and we sit down with the voice of Anakin Skywalker, @MattLanter, to talk #TheCloneWars and #StarWarsBattlefrontII! Plus, more #StarWarsCelebration announcements and a look at Hasbro’s Jabba Sail Barge. pic.twitter.com/Xh0aQT2jTw

And EA responded:
Did you hear? #StarWarsJediFallenOrder will be at #StarWarsCelebration Chicago! See the game for the first time on April 13th.
Plus, hear from @MattLanter about his work on #StarWarsBattlefrontII. https://t.co/vE0oPnYDSZ

With this episode, it was stated that the panel would reveal “never before heard details” about it. This reveal will take place during The Star Wars Celebration which is scheduled for April 11-15, 2019 and will have a special panel on April 13. There is no attendance required, so it’s possible that the panel will get streamed live from the event.
To keep up with it, check out both the Star Wars Twitter account and the EA Star Wars Twitter account. Both will most likely be posting consistently about the celebration and panel that will focus on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The game still has a general release date of Holiday 2019.
