Remastered versions of Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2:Seeds of Evil are coming to the Xbox One. As tweeted by Night Dive Studios, the remastered versions of the dinosaur hunting FPS games will be coming to “Xbox,” which we can assume means the Xbox One. Night Dive Studios specialize in making remastered versions of classic PC games, with some of their most notable works including the re-released versions of System Shock and System Shock 2.
@AlexSGregory We're currently planning on bringing Turok and Turok 2 to @Xbox

Although Night Dive Studios has already ported Turok to PC, it will be great for Xbox One owners to hunt some polygonal dinosaurs. When asked about other consoles, Night Dive tweeted “We’re evaluating other platforms but can’t confirm at this time.” We can hope that Playstation owners will get a chance to play these classic 90s Shooters.
Turok and Turok 2 were technologically advanced games when they came out, and because of that only people with high-end PCs (for the time) could get the full experience. Even though they aren’t full HD remakes, Night Dive Studios re-release of Turok is vastly improved with increased draw distance, higher fps, enhanced lighting effects, and other improvements that make the game run smoothly. A re-released version of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil will be released on Steam at some point in 2016, but there is no official release date yet.
