It’s certainly been quiet on the newsfront for Red Dead Redemption 2’s Wild West, almost too quiet if you ask me. The last trailer dropped almost a year ago, which first showcased its gorgeous landscapes, wildlife and towns, but left us to speculate so much in terms of gameplay, multiplayer and story. Ever since that trailer the biggest news has been some leaked screenshots, some official screenshots and an announcement that Red Dead Redemption 2 would be delayed until Spring of 2018. That’s been mostly it thus far. Well, until this morning.

Cancel your plans, block off your calendars and queue up Spaghetti Westerns for the next week because Red Dead Redemption 2’s new announcement debuts Thursday, September 28th, at 8am PT.
Sure, this Tweet from Rockstar doesn’t exactly tell us what will be shown off, but that doesn’t stop me from assuming whatever it is, is going to be absolutely incredible. Will it be another one-minute trailer like the last one, or will it be a more in-depth look at the gameplay with some developer narration and details on the much anticipated multiplayer and storyline?
As of now we know Red Dead 2 is coming to Xbox One and Ps4, but how about the PC and the Nintendo Switch? Both seem like long-shots, but you really never know. Just a few weeks ago Rockstar announced L.A. Noire for the Switch, and the other day Bethesda showed us that their graphically-intensive Doom can run on Nintendo’s new portable.
Let me know what you’re hoping is revealed in this upcoming announcement in the comments below.
