Razer has revealed the next generation of its popular Kraken Kitty headset line with the debut of the Kraken Kitty V3 Pro and Kraken Kitty V3 X. Both headsets embrace the expressive cat-ear design that made the series a favorite among gamers and streamers, while introducing new features that enhance both performance and versatility, according to a press release.
The Kraken Kitty V3 Pro combines Razer’s signature style with immersive sound and multi-platform support, making it ideal for creators on the move. The headset offers three connectivity modes, allowing users to swap between Razer HyperSpeed Wireless at 2.4 GHz for ultra-low-latency audio, Bluetooth 5.3 for mobile use, or wired USB-A for stable desktop play. Its standout reactive Razer Chroma RGB lighting features 16.8 million colors and dynamic effects that sync with over 300 games and 500 devices, enhancing streams and live events. Other upgrades include a retractable HyperClear Super Wideband microphone designed for high-definition voice capture, TriForce Titanium 40 mm drivers that deliver balanced highs, mids and lows, and THX Spatial Audio for a surround sound experience. Comfort is also a priority with memory foam and protein leatherette ear cushions that offer a secure fit and effective noise isolation.
According to Charlie Bolton, Razer’s Global Head of Design, the Kraken Kitty V3 Pro is built to balance form and function while maintaining the expressive look that has become iconic among streamers and fans. Global creator Yoo “Jinnytty” Yoon-jin has already adopted the headset as part of her signature look, praising its ability to combine style and high-end performance without compromise.
Launching alongside the Pro model is the Kraken Kitty V3 X, a lightweight wired option that weighs only 270 grams for all-day comfort. It uses a universal 3.5 mm connection for compatibility across platforms and features a HyperClear Cardioid Mic for clear voice pickup, TriForce 40 mm drivers, and 7.1 Surround Sound for spatial awareness in games. While it lacks wireless features, it offers the same signature design and sound quality at a more affordable price.
