Playstation recently released a trailer on their YouTube channel announcing that Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart will be coming to PC on July 26, 2023. While the original game was developed by Insomniac Games, the game has been brought to PC with a few new features by Nixxes Software. According to Culturedvultures, this will be the first game in the Ratchet and Clank series that will be ported onto PC for both Steam and the EpicGames Store.
The original game came out on the PlayStation 5 back in 2021 and was a massive success for the platform. Since then, rumors of the game coming to PC have circulated, but only recently have those rumors been confirmed as true.
Additionally, the game’s PC port will also have additional features that were not in the original games. Within the description of the Youtube video, PlayStation shows some of the additions to the game which include:
Wrap your eyes around delightful, diverse dimensions, with ultra-wide support for 21:9, 32:9, and 48:9 (triple monitor support) resolutions!*
See the omniverse brought to life with the option of unlocked frame rates! You can also enjoy ray-traced reflections, as well as newly added, ray-traced shadows for exteriors.*
Witness the very latest, performance-enhancing upscaling technologies for yourself, including NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2, Intel XeSS and Insomniac Games’ Temporal Injection. NVIDIA Reflex and image quality-enhancing NVIDIA DLAA are also supported.

Includes support for achievements and cloud saves on PC game launchers.
While fans may have to wait to play Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart on PC, PlayStation Blog explains that the game is currently available for pre-purchase ahead of its official launch. If purchased, players will get early access to the in-game items, pixelizer weapon and carbonox armor set. In addition, the PC version will also include five armors from the Digital Deluxe Edition and 20th Anniversary Armor Pack, with an additional five armors inspired by previous games in the series.
