Ubisoft has announced that Operation Blood Orchid the next expansion pack for Rainbow Six Siege will release on August 29 For the Playstation 4, PC, and Xbox One. they also revealed some info on what the expansion will contain but not much is currently known about it. It is known that the update will add new map and three new operators to the game, which is one more than the other expansions have previously included within them. The map is set to be in Hong Kong but Ubisoft hasn’t gave any more intel on what players can expect from the new operators that will be introduced. The official Twitter account for the game did release a gif possibly teasing a new operator coming in the new update here is the post below.
When zoomed in within the gif viewers can make out what seems to be a Polish flag hinting that this will be the game’s first Polish operator from their GROM special forces. Also the rifle in the picture may suggest that the operator will be an attacking one. All three operators will be available to players who own a season pass on August 29. Everyone else will be able to purchase them with in game currency on or after September 5. There will be a live stream of Rainbow Six Pro League Finals that will give players their first real look at the new Hong Kong map and the new operators. The stream is set for August 26 at 10:15 AM PT on Twitch.
