Question Games Ends Early Access Period And Officially Launches Co-op Horror Title, The Blackout Club

The Early Access period finally comes to a close. Question Games celebrated the official launch of their newest co-op adventure project, The Blackout Club. The game is a first-person multiplayer horror game about a small town with a big secret. Along with a new region, the early access period allowed the team to complete a number of polishes and improvements.

The story takes place in a small town where a group of young teenagers begin an investigation into a mysterious secret believed to possibly be the cause of the strange occurrences. “Every night, everyone in town gets out of bed and sleepwalks. In the morning, they wake up with no recollection of what happened or where they were.” The events are known as Blackouts. After the teens awake to find themselves wandering the woods in the dead of night, they find that no one believes their stories. Together, they form a small club, The Blackout Club, and vow to discover the truth. “Unfortunately, the recent disappearance of a close friend means that the sleepwalking isn’t just strange – it could be deadly.”

Players will be able to team up with up to three friends to explore a spacious residential neighborhood, complete with creepy underground tunnels. To solve this mystery, and survive, characters will need to make use of tools such as drones, noisemakers, and grappling hooks. Keep attention away from yourself and complete your missions, all while avoiding an unseeable enemy.

Along with the game’s launch also came an additional content pack: the Founder’s Club DLC. Although no additional gameplay is included, the add-on does feature four bonus items for those who want to show their support for the project and the studio in-game. The DLC features two Founder’s Club Leather Jackets, one “for the Rebel in you” and another “for your preppy side”. There is also a Founder’s “Dab” Gesture for playable characters as well as a “Unique Poster” that can be used to help customize the hideout.

The Blackout Club is now available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC. For those interested in the Founders Club DLC, the additional content can be purchased through the Steam Store.
