It has been nearly two year since PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, or PUBG, has been released. Except, it’s only been out for PC for that long. It wasn’t until recently that PUBG launched a port for XBox One and mobile devices that allowed it to expand its player database. Since its release PUBG has become one the top-selling games, having sold roughly 18 million copies. And that number is about to get higher because PUBG is finally hitting the shelves for Playstation 4:
Many people were concerned with the possibility of a PS4 port back in September, when PUBG was added to the Xbox One, so needless to say players have been waiting for this announcement to happen. And with the official date in place, PS4 players don’t have much longer to wait.
With the upcoming PUBG hitting PS4 consoles and accounts soon, there was a few things that developers PUBG Corporation announced with it as well. The first one was the all new “snow-themed” map for the Winter drop of the game, as well as, working with Naughty Dog, an Uncharted 3 Nathan Drake Desert Outfit and The Last Of Us’s Ellie’s back pack:
While there are four versions of PUBG’s PS4 port that players can get, all with the base game, some do come with their own extra passes, in-game coins, and purchasable bonus points. However, any version that is pre-ordered comes with the Naughty Dog bonuses.
PlayerUnkown’s Battleground will be released for PS4 on December 7, and is currently available for pre-order for $30, $50, or $60 USD depending on the extra bonuses that players want to have. The two Naughty Dog add-ons will come with any of the pre-order purchases as well.
