PUBG Mobile Partners with Rockstar Energy Drink for Virtual Fuel What’s Next Campaign

Rockstar Energy Drink takes to the virtual world with one of their latest ad campaigns. Partnered up with PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile, the two corporations take “Fuel What’s Next” to the next level as they bring players a new in-game experience involving the famous Euphoria star, Angus Cloud, as their brand partner.

“It’s exciting whenever we have the opportunity to partner with an immensely popular celebrity who connects with our players in PUBG MOBILE, so when Rockstar Energy approached us with the idea to bring Angus Cloud into the world of PUBG MOBILE, we felt it was a perfect fit,” said Anthony Crouts, Senior Director of Marketing for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds MOBILE.

The release of their two trailers reveals to both current and prospective players the best bits of the Rockstar Energy Drink and PlayerUnknown’s Battleground MOBILE collaboration. It revealed that Angus Cloud has his own in-game skin along with some special perks and events that will come from this campaign.

The new player model skin has some Augus Cloud flare as it is based on the actor’s fashion sense. Titled the “What’s Next Set”, it includes a black hat, sunglasses, and a gold puffer jacket. In addition, at the end of the event, the first player to complete the challenge will win the grand prize of a real-life Rockstar Energy Polaris Slingshot.

On top of that, Rockstar Energy celebrated the launch of the Angus Cloud’s integration into PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds by hosting a “PUBG MOBILE x Rockstar Energy Drink ‘What’s Next’ live stream on April 27, 2023 which featured a special performance by rapper Don Toliver at NRG Castle in Downtown Los Angeles.
