Today game developer and publisher Celestial Gold Studios released their new game, Kung Fu Jesus. The game is currently only available on PC through Steam. Kung Fu Jesus is a psychedelic action beat ’em up where players step into the role of the titular Kung Fu Jesus.
In Kung Fu Jesus players take control of a schizophrenic who realizes that all of the conspiracies and myths he has heard, are actually real and he now has to take down the Illuminati. The game features three distinct story arcs to play through, each with its own unique ending. Players will work their way through multiple different celestial planes and alien landscapes, taking down various enemies with martial arts and a multitude of different weapons. Levels feature neon-lit streets, forests with ancient temples, vast deserts, and snowcapped mountains. Players will level up their character over the course of their journey, and eventually reach their full potential as Kung Fu Jesus. The game is a fusion of genres and features multiple different forms of gameplay. The gameplay will range from typical side-scrolling beat ’em up combat, to 3D driving challenges. Players looking to fully complete Kung Fu Jesus including all of the mini-games and side challenges associated to each story arc can expect upwards of sixty hours of gameplay.
Kung Fu Jesus is now available on PC through Steam. The game is available for $14.99, however, those who purchase the game before June 3 will receive a special 15% launch discount. The game’s OST will be releasing soon on June 3 and will be available separately for $5.99. A bundle containing both the game and the OST will also be available for $18.99.
